PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
OFF-THE-CHARTS RARE gothic new wave 45 from 1987 with original picture sleeve!! Think mid-late 80s Siouxsie & The Banshees and your on the right track. The production on this 45 sounds amazingly professional, unlike most privately pressed 45s. Absolutely NO Google hits and obviously NO Discogs entry either!! I have been collecting punk, goth and new wave since the late 70s and I have NEVER seen this 45 before. Ever. I have contacted every hardcore punk, goth and new wave collector and dealer I know and not one of them has ever heard of this one before. Not one. I have a gazillion punk, new wave and goth compilations and this one has never appeared on any of them. Not one. Even the comps showcasing the genres' rarest 45s in the world (most of which are vastly inferior to this one). Anyone with ANY information on exactly who The Jerusalem were please get in touch as I would like to provide at least a morsel of background information. This was most likely pressed in a tiny quantity and disappeared without a trace. Until now. I have owned this 45 for over 15 years and now it's time to release it into the world. This is the kind of 45 with which to impress your know-it-all music expert friend (and we all have one). I USE GOLDMINE GRADING: MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
