Description

The original, Mercury-issued limited 1949 6-disc set "The Jazz Scene" by Norman Granz. Features many large photos and text. Discs are 12" 78 RPM, made of shellac. Signed and numbered (see photos).

Box set binding, cover, photos, foldouts, and disc pockets are all in excellent, untorn, unmarked condition. It's beautiful to look at. Visually the discs range between VG++ to EX+. They retain full luster and generally just have a few very light marks per side -- nothing to even remotely worry about -- the discs have been play-tested and sound superb.

This rare set is complete and in wonderful condition. Will be packed to insure that it reaches the buyer in the same condition. Upgraded shipping is available at buyer's request.
