The Jazz Composer's Orchestra Communication Fontana 881011ZY / 195 J 23 (Japan) - stereo blue-silver label - rec. live in New York on December 29, 1964 (A1) and on April 10, 1965 (A2, B) - originally issued as dutch Fontana 881011 ZY in 1965 - this is the 1984 Japanese issue with the insert Jazz Composer's Orchestra by Carla Bley : piano with among others Steve Lacy, Archie Shepp, John Tchicai, Roswell Rudd, Jimmy Lyons, Mike Mantler, Milford Graves, Robin Kenyatta, Ken McIntyre Side A : Roast (C.Bley) - Day (Communication n.4) (M.Mantler) Side B : Communication n.5 (M.Mantler)Visual grading : record is Near Mint- full lustre has very light wear. Clean labels with minimal spindle wear Playing grading : record is Near Mint- plays very well with loud and clear sound. Very few light occasional tics Cover grading : cover is Near Mint- has very light wear
