Who/What: ... The Icemen How Can I Get Over A Fox Like You White Label Printed Promo 45 RPM. The record was released in 1968. Jimi Hendrix played and recorded with the Icemen before he formed The Jimi Hendrix Experience. I do not believe Jimi played on this one though.  During my tenure as record store manager, many people swore up and down that a record skipped on their player at home but when played in store, the record did not skip. It is what it is... I let them pick out that same record again. This vinyl recording is one of a kind so that is not an option. If you are fanatical about this, please do not make a bid or purchase from me. Location Box 110317

Photos:
Some of the photos show me as a reflection in the vinyl or some portion of me or the camera.

Condition: This is always tricky but I believe this record is still shiny but it's about average. The condition of the label is another indicator while not a perfect method it can nevertheless tell us a lot about how the record was treated or in some instances, how many times is was played. Presumably, the radio station DJ wrote the arrival date on Loogaboo label side.  Surface markings on the vinyl indicate to me: Average play.  Visually Graded. Please look at photos carefully--they may help you make a decision. A magnifier tool should appear when you run your mouse pointer over the surface of the enlarged image and it will magnify that portion of the record. Note: If this function does not appear, I suggest you contact eBay. It is a valuable tool. Questions: Email me--I always respond.

Packaging: Great care is always taken when packaging records. The record will be shipped sturdy cardboard inserts so that mailer is stiffened. Rest assured that records will be insured not only for the purchase price but also for the shipping/handling price as well--complete insurance for peace of mind.

NOTE: Between 1981 and 1994, I was either a record store manager, a musician, music writer for a daily, an editor of a Music publication in West Michigan--as such I often stashed away posters, records and the odd ephemera associated with the music industry that came my way.
