Description
Very RARE Boogie Funk 12" from 1988 - The Indigos - Hot Stuff b/w Instrumental - This copy comes with the stock copy and an extremely scarce test pressing!! No other test press copies are known to exist (no sales, none currently for sale other than this one of course, and no mention of it's existence to be found online).
Stock Copy has a storage/pressure warp that moves the stylus up and down about 1/8 inch. The warp is more pronounced on the edge, but lightens up as it plays. No jumps and it did not affect playback (we used around 2.5 grams of tracking force on the tone arm). Plays a nice VG++ with no noticeable surface. Visually there is one mark where the warp originates (as shown in photo #4), but other than that it looks a very nice VG++.
The Test Press has a similar warp but with much less movement to it (more like 1/16 inch about half as much movement as the stock copy). Likewise warp did not affect playback, no jumps, and playback is solid VG++ also. Visually VG++ with some light paper sleeve scuffing on the edge that does not affect play as shown in the last photo.
Both records have photos of their matrix (aka dead wax) numbers showing as to assure that the test press is the same as the stock copy.
Cover has a large crease in the top left corner, and many minor creases, corner bumps, and some light stains as shown in photos. No seam splits.
