Description
The House that Track Built is a rare sampler from 1969.
This LP contains two exclusive Who mixes - a true stereo version of 'A Quick One While He's Away' & a studio version of 'Young Man Blues' - The studio version of this song has only been legitimately released on this record - contrary to what the liner notes say, the "Odds & Sods" reissue (MCA #MCAD-11718) does not contain this version but has a totally different studio version.
It also contains the first Fairport Convention single 'If I Had A Ribbon Bow', two tracks each by Jimi Hendrix & The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown, along with tracks by Thunderclap Newman, John's Children with Marc Bolan, an early Clinton Parliament's tune & more. The sleeve was designed by David King, who did the superb Electric Ladyland & Axis: Bold As Love covers.
The condition of this copy is good for its age - please zoom in on the attached photos to get a detailed look.
There is a mark on side 1 track 4 which doesn't look like a scratch and will probably clean off. The rest of side 1 and all of side 2 appears unblemished.
This a good opportunity to get your hands on a real classic.
