1969 13-track label sampler compilation album from Track Records: 613016 A1/B1
Manufactured by Polydor Records Ltd., London
Nice clean copy of this sought after compilation album, you won’t be disappointed.
This album contains two exclusive Who mixes; a true stereo version of 'A Quick One While He's Away' & a studio version of 'Young Man Blues.' As far as I’m aware, the studio version of this song has only been legitimately released on this record - contrary to what the liner notes say, the "Odds & Sods" reissue (MCA) does not contain this version but a totally different studio version. It also contains the first Fairport Convention single 'If I Had A Ribbon Bow', two tracks each by Jimi Hendrix & The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown, along with tracks by Thunderclap Newman, John's Children (with Marc Bolan) and early Parliament's (source: popspike).
Sleeve design by David King, who was responsible for Electric Ladyland and Axis: Bold As Love covers.
Sleeve: Printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd. Fully laminated and in really nice condition, no rips, tears, writing or lamination lift, all edges and spine true. Very light scuffing on outside edge from light age related handling only (see photos) EX/EX+
Labels: Clean, couple of small spider lines only EX
Vinyl: Visually both sides retain their original gloss - couple of light surface scratches, couple of small marks, neither of which interferes with listening graded minimum EX- more EX to EX+ depending on how strict your grading is.
Audio: Plays through clean, no pips, pops, crackle or nasty surprises - graded EX+

I strictly adhere to the Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide using one + or - for addition guidance:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
