Warner Bros 5430 Promotion Not For Sale Near Mint!

I am selling off my entire Beach Boys, Honeys, Jan & Dean, Fantastic Baggys, Beatles, Gary Usher related, and other rock and roll record collection that I have been collecting for over 30 years.  Up for bid is the ultra rare Honeys single  "He's A Doll b/w For The Love Of A Boy And A Girl" in superb and glorious MONO and includes the original Warner Bros out sleeve!  Features guest vocals from future Beach Boy Brian Wilson!  This was Brian's attempt to emulate Phil Spector and his girl group The Ronettes.  He's A Doll has that great Phil Spector inspired Wall of Sound! For The Love is a nice touching slow ballad.  This is the second rarest Honeys single.  What's the first?  The stock copy.  It was rumored for years that there were no stock copies.  Nah, I have one so it's not a rumor.  It's truth.

Condition: The vinyl is both play and visually graded as Near Mint.  It's not Mint like most dealers would try to pawn off on you.  It's also definitely not VG+ because this thing is clean.  Very clean.  And with lots of luster.  It is shiny and a real joy to behold.  Cool looking Warner Bros. labels have a hint of ring wear. The vinyl itself is super clean and the deadwax reads: WS GX 13717-3.  This one plays very clean without surface noise.  I have played the 45 to do a needle drop on my high end McIntosh stereo system to hear for noise, tics, and pops and it sounds fantastic!  The original Warner Bros. outer sleeve is in great condition with just some minor crinkles and a small tiny tear at the top.  Some of the glue has bled through to the B side of the sleeve.  I am very picky when it comes to grading and grade to Goldmine standards. I absolutely hate it when dealers ameliorate the condition of the vinyl!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially when I am the buyer!!  The record has been kept in a polylined sleeve ever since I've had it.

Sound: Sounds fabulous!  And in Mono, not stereo like the CD release!  Listen to the Phil Spector influenced production techniques that Brian incorporates.  A very well polished sound.  I've always felt the Honeys sang a bit off key but the sound and the songs grow on you.  Cute girl group.  No wonder Brian married Marilyn!  This record lists for over $200 on Goldmine.

Watch out for some really rare upcoming items including Beatles, Beach Boys, Jan and Dean and the Fantastic Baggys!

Shipping in the US will be via USPS Media Mail $4 and will be shipped in sturdy cardboard LP mailers. Don't get ripped off by those dealers charging you $6 to $7 for shipping! There is NO reason to be charged that much!
