Description
On offer here is a UK MONO pressing of the album EVOLUTION by THE HOLLIES. The Cat. No is PMC7022 on the YELLOW & BLACK PARLOPHONE label. This pressing dates from the 1967. The matrix numbers are as follows: Side 1, XEX 635-1 1G. Side 2 XEX 636-1 1M.
THE LABELS are in VG+ condition with NO WRITING and a few light spindle marks.
THE VINYL cosmetically is in EX condition. Shiny vinyl with just a few light wispy bag removal lines, none of which are feelable. I have played it through and it sounded great. There were NO WARPS, JUMPS or STICKS and no noticeable background noise during playback, just the odd light static click noticeable on the run ins and between tracks. A very enjoyable listen, playback grades as EX.
THE INNER SLEEVE is the original poy lined Emitex, in VG+ condition with NO SPLITS OR TEARS, there is a numbered sticker in one corner and the band and title in the other.
THE COVER is the ORIGINAL front laminated flip back, printed in UK by Garrod and Lofthouse. This is in VG+ condition, there are NO TEARS OR SPLITS, just some minor creasing, light ringwear and bumping to corners. The edges are 100% sound, there are a couple of minor creases going across text on spine. There is a number written on the reverse top left and also a small amount of rubbing and a price written topright.
