Description
Groundhogs: "Live At Leeds" 1998, Italy/Akarma AL-010. Disc is M-, gatefold cover is M-, this is like new! Deluxe repressing of the very rare US-only promo-only LP issued by United Artists in a plain white jacket, to get the Groundhogs on the airwaves in the States. Supposedly only a couple hundred of these were produced. It was by far the rarest American release by the Groundhogs. Promoting the band via a live recording was not a bad idea... their studio albums are great, but their live performances from this period are epic! They often sound like they're about to fly off the rails. This show was recorded at England's Leeds University in February 1971, a gig they opened for The Rolling Stones. Songs are "Cherry Red", "Garden", "Split Pt.1", "Groundhog Blues", and "Eccentric Man". This is one of the first LPs Akarma produced way back in the last century. I ship all records in strong cardboard mailers with cardboard flats added to increase stability. The discs are always removed from the jackets to prevent seam splits, and all albums are dressed in plastic sleeves for travel. Please be aware that these supplies are expensive to purchase and may represent a small portion of my shipping charges. I pack/ship one day per week, usually it is Friday.

Most of my customers prefer Media Mail because it is very cheap. Please keep in mind that it's cheap because it is SLOW. I have had Media Mail boxes take two months to travel cross-country.
CANADA: If you are in Canada, I can send this LP to you by 1st Class Airmail for $20.00. This service offers no tracking. If you want online tracking, ask me about mailing options.
EVERYWHERE ELSE: If you are not in the USA or Canada, I can send this LP to you by 1st Class Airmail for $27.00. This service offers no tracking. If you want online tracking, ask me about mailing options.
