Some info about this record:

Originally recorded in England, this LP was actually first pressed in Nigeria, motherland country of all the group members.

Point of no Return is an astonishing Afro-Funk LP played by the legendary group The Funkees, orchestrated and led by the one and only Harry Mosco.

The whole album is full of amazing rhythms but the two killer tunes "Abraka" and "Life" are absolutely another level.

This LP is also the first release on the Amba Label, as you can see from the Code AMLP-01, although if they say there is also an existing text press with no coding released in '74, I have never even seen a picture of that.

I can tell you this is the first and most sought-after pressing. This same album have also been released with a different cover in England and then France, the same year.

This LP is part of my personal collection and has sat unplayed on a shelf for 8 long years.

The vinyl is glossy and shiny with almost no noise at all. I have looked for a copy this clean for years and I give you my word it is almost impossible finding African pressings of that time in this beautiful condition.

This is a unique chance. Do not sleep on it!!! - SOUND CLIPS ON REQUEST -

Grading and Conditions:

Vinyl - EX++ (Shiny, Glossy. Impeccable condition for a Nigerian 70's pressing! some minor almost inaudible noise here and there. No Pops. No Skips)

Cover - VG (some creases and wear, no humidity or water damage. Small RW on back. Original inner sleeve.)

NM - Untouched and unplayed record. Brand new from factory conditions.

EX - Perfect record, shiny, glossy vinyl with no or minor marks that doesn't affect play. (You could expect some almost inaudible noise in pressings from Africa, Brazil, South America and the Caribbeans)

VG+ - Standard quality in the used record market. Records has been played but should still appear shiny, with no or minors marks that should not affect play. Some light noise could be audible during play.

VG - Heavily played records, could show some to many signs of wear that could affect play, background noise is inevitable.

Good - Beat-up records. These records have seen better days and they show signs of time, background noise, and sometimes even pops or track skips.

Poor - Wrecked records. I like to hang them on the wall though.

CC - Cut Corner

PH - Punch Hole

WOL - Writings on Labels/WOC - Writings on Cover

WD - Water Damage

RW - Ring Wear
