Description

The Fascinators  RARE DOO-WOP  "Chapel Bells"  1958 UK Capitol 14942 POST FREE Here we have The Fascinators with a trouser-burstingly RARE DOO-WOP 45 rpm "Chapel Bells" and "I Wonder Who" on an original 1958 UK Capitol14942.  It's amazingly hard to find and it's POST FREE! Sid Bass produced it and it's beautiful Doo Wop ballad, with all the correct ingredients, exquisitly sung.
But... Condition-wise... it's not perfect.  However, I'd describe it as perfectly collectable.  There are several light marks here and there, and some of them show up as light clicks.  Playing it on my VERY GOOD GEAR (Shure cartridge, wired for mono etc) it is all acceptable to the ear'ole. I'd describe it, conservatively, as a VG/VG+ or thereabouts. It has been pre-loved, to use the modern parlance.
The group's name reminds me of the time that the teacher said "Now Johnny, give me a sentence with the word 'fascinate' in it." Little Johnny replied "Well.. I have a coat with nine buttons, but I can only fasten eight!" Thankyou, Thankyou... I'm here all week.

I am not a dealer.

I am just an old bloke thinning out his lifetime collection of STUFF before the floor collapses.

I'm selling most of this stuff for much less than I paid for it.

What a great business plan (I don't think)!
