We use the following for grading the condition of items listed on eBay.

Record grade is what is noted above and in the title. Sleeve or cover condition is graded in the description.

Vinyl Grading System

Mint (M) Absolutely perfect in every way. Never been played and usually sealed. (Very rarely used here on eBay)

Near Mint (NM) The record has been on a shelf between other records. The vinyl looks glossy and clearly has only been played a few times. There are no marks on the vinyl and the whole package is complete.

Excellent (E) Same as NM, but I'd tolerate very light marks where the vinyl has been in and out of the inner sleeve a few times, or tiny signs of use generally.

Very Good Plus (VG+) A few further faults are acceptable, but nothing that really compromises the record visually or audibly. A little rub, light inaudible marks, a little background crackle.

Very Good (VG) It's seen a bit of life, but is still usable. Light pops and clicks, light visible scratches. You can still listen to it and enjoy looking at it, but it is visually and audibly USED.

Good/Good+ (G/G+) It?s been played more than a bit, but can be played.  Pops and clicks, slightly warped along the outer edge due to sitting on a shelf in one spot for too long, visible scratches. You can listen to it and enjoy it, but it is nothing you want to play at high volume while using headphones.

Good (G-) To be honest, you're buying something that isn't worth the money. Good means Bad. I'd only be selling something really desirable in this condition, with a bargain price and a full, no holds barred description to match. Avoid buying this unless it completes a collection or is super rare.

Poor (P), Fair (F) Attempting to listen will be a disturbing experience. Expect major noise issues, skipping or repeating. The record itself is cracked, badly warped and has deep scratches. The cover is also approaching death. I DO NOT/WILL NOT sell anything with this rating

Look at all the photos as this is the best way to evaluate the condition of the item. I try and get any defects noted in the photos, as well as, in the description.  But I may miss something. Payment is required within 3 days of auction close. We prefer PayPal.

We ship every weekday with USPS, UPS, FED EX. Local pickup is available, but local sales tax will be required if local pickup is used. eBay processes this and I do not have control over this.

Most items ship within 24 hrs. of cleared payment.

We reserve the right to cancel any bids or end any auction at any time for any reason.

If an auction is listed as LOCAL PICKUP ONLY, then it is your responsibility to pick up your item. I will work with the shipping agent of your choice. But we cannot crate or otherwise package your item.  Please do not ask us to deliver your item.  It would be best to pass on this type of auction if you do not have the means to pick up the item. If you decide to bid on an item and then find that you cannot pickup said item, we will hold your item for 60 days. If, after 60 days, you have not claimed your item, then we will relist the item and your money will not be refunded.
