THE EQUALS Strike Again SCARCE UK ORIG 1969 EX++ LP

The Equals - Equals Strike Again.
Original UK first pressing from 1969 on President Records (PTLS 1030). Stereo.
Laminated flipback sleeve is in very good+ condition.(lamination creases)
Record is in NEAR MINT condition.

Brief Info: A fairly successful sixties band that unusually at the time, included both black and white musicians and their name The Equals was no coincidence. Featuring the talents of a young Eddie Grant who wrote a high percentage of the songs on this their fifth President album. The band played a dynamic blend of pop and rock and this is fantastic album. A highly prolific band at the end of the 60s. This is a superb record, clearly hardly played and sounding marvellous. Massively pressed on high quality vinyl this has avoided all the perils that trashed so many records at this time. Never an easy title to find and rare like this, a copy that should please most discerning collectors and including a fantastic fully laminated gatefold cover.
