Description

Doors MONO LPs are like “Holy Grails” in vinyl collecting. And here’s a GREAT one in GREAT Condition.

 

In this auction: 

·       “STRANGE DAYS” by The Doors  

·       This LP is Elektra EKL - 4014.

·       It is a MONO (Monaural) LP with the brown Elektra labels.

·       This LP was released in 1967.

·       Only 3 Doors LP titles were released in MONO.

·       The LP in this auction is a VERY RARE MONAURAL PRESSING of  The Doors’ LP “Strange Days”.

·       The LP has GREAT cuts on it including “Love Me Two Times” and “People Are Strange”.

·        The COVER is in STRONG VG CONDITION. The cover has light overall wear. The front cover has light wear near the top, bottom, center, and near the opening. The rear cover has a little wear near the top. There is very light wear on the corners. The seams and spine are NICE and STRONG and without wear. The COVER has NO seam splits, NO tears, NO writing, and NO ring wear.

·       Goldmine states that there were 2 different covers issued for this pressing. Some covers have mono number “EKL-4014 (mono)” on the front and rear and the stereo number “EKLS-74014”on the spine. Other covers have the mono number on the spine and the stereo number printed on the front and rear covers. The COVER in this auction has “EKL-4014 (mono)” printed at the top left corners of the front and rear covers, and the spine has the stereo number “EKLS-74014” printed on it. 

·       The VINYL is in NEAR MINT CONDITION with LOTS OF GLOSS.   

 

Don’t pass up this MONO PRESSING in GREAT CONDITION! It’s a “Must Have!” for any vintage vinyl collection!
