Description
I am not a collector or any kind of knowledgeable guy about records. I quit listening long ago. My description is based on simple observation and research. These records are directly from a collector's vault (closet). Do not count my descriptions as official grading, although I usually try to be careful.
These records looks pristine to me. The collector was a rhythm and blues guitar man (think Stevie Ray). I doubt he listened to the Doors. But, he bought for investment. The jacket is very nice and in good shape. It is beautifully printed but much thinner than normal albums. A little bit of wear on the edge of the bottom left corner. The records look to be unplayed. Shiny looking (pic). It has the same number on the label as the Towne Records "Mr. Mojo Risen" release as listed on Discogs. It is strangely labeled. Discogs does not list the label. The tracks are listed on the back between the picture rows. Start at the top and just read L to R. The tracks seem to be the ones on the Towne Records version along with the K-413. Its kind of a psychedelic protest record with lots of intentional distortion on the side I listened to, side one. Some dialogue from backstage between music. The rest I didn't listen to. I'm guessing other cuts are similar. Some open mic with background noise in the talking. I was not really a big Doors guy so don't know much about this work.
