Forget the horror film fascination integral to the Hellhound albums that Blood Farmers are famed for. This is a much more ugly and nasty down to earth affair. “Living At Home and Hiding from the Government” and “High on Amphetamines and Love (But Mostly Amphetamines)” paints that bleak picture. Frantic. Dark. Disturbing. This is real life channelled through sludgy riffs, dual guitar harmonies, wailing solos and tortured vocals all of which are somehow still underlined with Sabbath sensibilities.
