The Deviants – Disposable, 1968 LP Stable SLP 007.

This is a lovely example of the LP Disposable by The Deviants. It was released on the Stable Records label in 1968 – SLP 7001. The record is in lovely shiny EX+ or even Near Mint condition with just a few barely visible light scuff-marks but no scratches at all and it sounds fine. The unusual gatefold cover (with wavy-line cut along the top and bottom of the front panel) grades as a strong VG+ over all. Going into detail, there is minor wear to the spine (left-hand side) and minor bumping to the left-side corners, which I guess is a fairly common fault with this album as these left-side corners are a sort of weak-point in the design of the cover. There is also a light crease in the bottom right corner of the front panel. The wear on the spine includes a couple of very small areas that are grazed with tiny flakes of laminate missing, but it certainly hasn’t worn through or anything like that. Unless you go looking for them these two small faults are not at all obvious and in the main the cover is in lovely clean condition with no rips, scribbles, or grazes, etc.
