Quite a rare one here.
Please note. I do not give my records an overall grade. I try to be as descriptive as possible about the record, and leave potential buyer's to make up their own mind. The vast majority of records i am selling have a sound quality of Excellent or better. I am a collector, not a seller. All records I sell are only sold because I have superior copies in my collection, therefore if you are looking for ‘Mint’ records I am unlikely to have anything for you. However, I do not, and never will, sell rubbish. All records I sell play very well, some just look a little more tired than others.
This particular record just about retains a sheen. Viewing it under a 150W light bulb there are quite a few light superficial scratches & scuffs on the surface of the vinyl.
Please be aware, I do not check my records under bright halogen lamps or direct sunlight, so I may miss the odd light scratch or hairline that I may otherwise have seen under stronger light.
As far as sound quality is concerned this plays beautifully with minimal (if any) background noise
Please note though, i have only play graded the 'A' side.
‘A’ side label: Fine with no rips, tears or writing on
‘B’ side label: Fine with no rips, tears or writing on
Overall Assessment
Still a very decent playing record. The vinyl does look a little tired, however. Bear in mind though, that this record is now 52 years old it has kept an excellent sound quality over the years despite many, many plays.
This record very rarely comes up for sale anywhere. If you are more concerned with sound quality than looks, then this record is certainly worth a bid.
For anyone unfamiliar with this song why not check it out on 'Youtube'.
I do endeavour to send my records with their relevant company sleeve, though this is not always possible, especially where the rarer sleeves are concerned. If having the correct company sleeve is important to you please email me before bidding. As far as company sleeves are concerned, they may be good, they may be not so good, (no rubbish though), they may even be a ‘Repro’. Pot Luck's generally the name of the game as far as company sleeves are concerned
I have now had to put a postage charge of £1.50 for my records. This charge stays the same whether you were to buy 1, 2 or 3 of my records, I can put up to 3 singles in 1 mailer). It is 1st Class (and I obtain proof of postage). I am a collector, not a Dealer, so I am not out to make a fortune on my postal charges, just to give still decent records decent new homes where they will be appreciated.
All singles I sell are sent out in brand-new mailers. I have to pay for these, so anyone who thinks my postal charges are a little high, please bear this in mind. I make no money on postal charges whatsoever, and when you consider there are sellers on ebay who charge £4.00 to send a single 45 to a U.K. postal address, you may realize my charges are not so bad after all
If you are unhappy with any of the above information then please do not bid
Thanks for looking and don't forget to check out other singles i have for sale.
Finally, although i would like this to be a World-wide auction, my ebay settings prevent anyone outside the U.K. from bidding (my settings are correct for world-wide bids, and ebay have checked that it is correct, but strangely, they were not able to correct the problem). So for those of you outside the U.K. i send my apologies.
