Description
This is the 1979 7 inch record with Psycho Surfer and Machine Gun Love by the DefeX featuring drummer Ricky Sonkin. Machine Gun Love was the #1 track on Killed By Death #18 http://www.lipstickkillers.com/comphell/kbd18.html , http://www.fuzzlogic.com/flex/k/2717.php . The DefeX played at CBGB's in 1979. This catalog http://www.insekten-records.de/Mailorder/catalogue16.pdf lists it as: "DEFEX – Psycho Surfer/Machine Gun Love (Wacker, USA, `79) Extremely hard to find melody punk 2-tracker from Colorado. The powerful and very melodic “Ma-Ma-Ma-Machine Gun Love” can be heard on one of the KBD comps but in my humble opinion “Psycho Surfer” is the real smasher. Pressed on Tom Wacker’s private mini-punk label. Super-rare (M-/EX) eBay $361 (August 2005) min bid 250"
