Background & History

"In Between Days" (sometimes listed as "Inbetween Days" or "In-Between Days") is a song by the English rock band The Cure, released on 19 July 1985 as the first single from the band's sixth album The Head on the Door.

The song was an international success. In the UK, it was the band's ninth chart single and their fourth consecutive Top 20 hit; while in the US it was their first single to reach the Billboard Hot 100, where it peaked at number 99. It was a Top 20 hit in Australia and New Zealand and also charted in several European countries, increasing the popularity of the band.

Condition Report The Vinyl is described as Excellent & played beyond that today, average background & no skips or stops... The run-in has some clicks but not on the music. Several spindle marks to both labels. There are a reasonable number of fine hairlines & sleeve marks to both sides of the record. The Vinyl has retained much of its rich waxy lustre... There are a few black lines which go across side 1 & have been created using a black felt-tip... these have zero effect on sound & detract little from the shiny vinyl. The Cover is described as VG+. There is a reasonable amount of edge/spine & corner-wear. There are some fine cracks to spine & edges with associated wrinkles. There is ring-wear to front & verso. There are some colour & paper losses to edges & spine. There has been a few scrapes to one side which have resulted in some paper losses & paper thinning... however the photos will show you all you need to know. No seam splits. Couple of minor stains here & there. Please see attached photos...
