Description
An item ive owned for a time, given to me by a friend, Micky Hall who throughout the latter 70s saw and met the Clash and Damned numerous times, as well as being the only guy i personally know who saw the Pistols in 77.
The item is an autographed 7 inch original single London Calling, signed by Paul Topper and Joe in various pens, sadly no Mick signature. The single as the photos provided does display some wear and tear, and some rubbing and very light staining, having been displayed without glass frame protection from smoke and sunlight. But still very presentable and good visible signatures. I sent the record to have the label cleaned professionally but as advised by the restorer, only a very light clean would be advised.
The A side of the disc has areas where possibly sellotape has been affixed and removed leaving parts of the label missing. I cant confirm if the record plays without crackles etc as ive never played it, due mainly to the fact this is a display item.
