The Clash London Calling U.S. White Label Promo Copy U.S. Epic Records E2 36328
Original first U.S. release pressed at Columbia Terra Haute plant in December 1979 and distributed in January 1980. Sterling in deadwax. Promo copy with white Demonstration-Not For Sale labels. "TEAR...DOWN...THE...WALLS!" is etched in the dead wax across the 4 sides of this pressing. Vinyl is in VG+ condition with light sleeve scuffing and labels are in NM condition. Looks, plays and sounds great! Single pocket outer sleeve with no seam splits but w/ some edge, cover wear and record impression is graded in G++ condition. Gold foil promo stamp in the upper left hand corner on the back cover. No writing, tears or tape anywhere. Custom inner sleeves with lyrics and photos are VG+ and have some record impression and age appropriate wear and mellowing to the white areas. There are two 2" seam splits on both of the inner sleeves. Please check out all the photos, there are lots of 'em! These U.S. promo copies of London Calling are becoming increasingly difficult to find in any condition. This is a well cared for advance copy of an album that is now a big part of rock 'n' roll history!

Will be packaged securely for safe shipping with disc removed from cover and inserted in a separate card stock sleeve to prevent seam splits during shipping.
Please note shipping cost includes secure packaging materials and insurance is included which usually adds $3-$5 depending on the value of the item but is worth every penny. Damaged or lost items by the USPS are rare but with insurance we're covered against both. Shipping on multiple items, as always, can be combined.
I try to grade as accurately as possible but due to the subjectivity of the process I include lots of photos so the buyer is comfortable knowing that what they're getting is what is being described. As many of the items I sell are 50 years old or older normal storage wear should be expected.
