THE CARDINAL FOLK GROUP
Rare chance to acquire this sort after private press folk LP, both sides look in excellent condition with one side having a very faint scuff . Under very bright light you can see some wispy hairlines , both labels look in excellent condition . The plain cardboard outer sleeve has the bands name & date 1969 wrote on the front plus a birthday message to the left corner , the reverse of the cover is blank . Discoloured with signs of storage wear I would grade the cover as VG
On This LP, "THE CARDINAL FOLK", the group were calling themselves "The Cardinal Folk" and hadn't shortened it to "The Cardinals". Pressed on the super small COUNTY RECORDING SERVICE label, dated 1969 on the plain outter sleeve and possibly only pressed in a quantity suitable for using as a momento of the band for the band, and possibly friends and family. County was known at this stage to offer a similar service to that of Deroy, and produce copies in quantities as small as 10 or 15 copies, to a more regular 100 copies,
