The Cannonball Adderley Sextet In New York, Riverside RLP9404.
1962 US stereo first pressing as confirmed from runouts/labels.
Taken from family collection which we have owned along with a number of other Riverside LPs bought back from the states decades ago. It has been safely stored and unplayed since at least 1983 house move, likely far longer still.
Vinyl - in excellent shape surface wear wise featuring just a few minor hairlines under torchlight with one caveat... it needs a wash! The gloss has been lost abit and there is one notable spot of surface contaminent which i wont try to remove owning to my lack of appropriate cleaning options. Once this is done however it will present excellently considering its age and im confident few exist that will then be better! The labels are in great unworn shape.
Jacket - original standard Riverside thicker than average textured card affair. Altough alot more susceptible to storage wear this has held up well and still overall feels very good and strong. No major spine crush or splits. A little seem splitting of top and bottom openings to be expected with age but not of much concern if well archived. Inner sleeve not original. Im certain RLP's with this jacket and of this vintage came in a plain poly liner which tbh are pretty dang crappy from my experiences so far. A new Mofi inner poly liner will be included with archival jacket outer liner.
A fantastic live jazz record with no filler and in potentially great shape given an LP wash!
