FORMAT...The Cult - "In Concert" - Extremely rare 100% GENUINE and ORIGINAL BBC Transcription Services "In Concert" 11-track vinyl LP housed in original Yellow and Green die-cut cover. On offer here, from my own collection, is this truly awesome CULT live album. This is the official BBC Records GREEN/WHITE LABEL copy and is a 100% genuine original 'real thing' issue! This RARE ORIGINAL COPY is not to be confused with the cheap bootleg and counterfeit copies that are sometimes offered for sale! The concert on this album was recorded on Oct 31st, 1985 ,and first broadcast on the BBC and affiliated radio stations on 25th January 1986. It is rumoured that this original album was made in less than 100 pressings!! The one I'm offering, the green & white label original copy, is the 100% genuine real thing!! Here is a very rare opportunity to own, not only one of the rarest CULT vinyl albums, but also one which captures the band on top form at the height of their powers. Truly awesome stuff!!

NOTES...Original BBC transcription service live radio show vinyl LP produced for Radio 1's "In Concert" show. Features a fabulous CULT concert recorded live at the Hammermith Odeon, London, 31st October, 1985. The album is introduced by BBC announcer Richard Skinner and features a superb live performance which captures The Cult on blistering top form. Very rare breed are these original White & Green label BBC Transcription Disc LP's. I have never seen anyone agree on the exact number of copies pressed, although most collectors seem to think that they were made in numbers of less than 100!!

Original BBC Transcription services records are extremely rare - basically they were issued to UK and various British commonwealth countries radio stations - for them to use as a pre-recorded programme for a limited time - radio stations paid an annual subscription to receive the items - they could use them as required, inserting their own jingles or programme items. After useage/expiry most were destroyed so they are increasingly hard to find. As many were professionally recorded by the BBC at live concerts the sound quality is excellent. This is a 100% genuine and original BBC Transcription Services LP Cat.No.CN 4709/S. Stereo. Genuine radio broadcast lp, top-notch pro sound quality, not originally available in record stores or to the general public. Made in England 1986. Original copy with Green/White labels housed in generic BBC die-cut yellow sleeve. An exceptionally rare record in stunning condition. The album has a total duration of 57 minutes.

Packing Procedures: All records are securely and well packed in top quality material to avoid any unnecessary damage during transit.When posted the records are removed from the covers,if possible,and placed in a PVC outer protective sleeve to prevent any sleeve splits in the post. I use brand new top quality mailers, either the envelope style with super thick stiffeners to stop any sleeve bends in transit, or the “cruciform” style that wrap around the 12"/lp. I aim to dispatch within 48 hours of receiving payment . It is recommended that you choose the option for recorded delivery (within UK) or registered delivery (for Europe and Rest of the World) for higher value items . I cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged that are not shipped by recorded / registered mail . I obtain a certificate proof of posting for every item sent .
