The Blackwood Brothers, On Stage In A Live Performance

James Edwards was my father in law.  He died in 1992, leaving behind a record collection of hundreds of gospel, classical, swing, country, popular and big band albums, which he had collected and preserved for years.  He carefully kept the records in their original record sleeves and album covers.  Jim was a Christian DJ in the 60's and 70's at WBEX in Chillicothe Ohio winning awards from many gospel and Christian Music organizations.  He was a past president of the Gospel Music Club, active in the Southern Baptist Church and personal friends of the Stamps, the Kingsmen and other great artists.  His widow, Ruth,  my mother in law has decided to part with her husband's wonderful collections and has given me the privilege of presenting them to interested collectors through the EBay network.  I plan on doing so, but would hope only lovers of the music like my father in law, acquire these items and treat them as wonderfully as he did.

This is a quality album and the vinyl is in mint condition.

I know that since I have restocked my collection, a lot of you would like to see your favorite groups listed as soon as possbile, and I am trying to keep up.    I also will list some well known groups and maybe some not as well known, but very talented ones.  All the vinyl looks brand new, even if the covers are slightly worn.  Stay with me and add me to your favorite sellers and sooner or later your album will appear.

I will be featuring many albums in the months ahead from those famous Blackwood Brothers.  All of the great performers of this group over the years will be featured, J.D. Sumner, James Blackwood, Bill Shaw, Wally Varner, Whitney Gleason, London Parris, and all of the other great gospel stars who have come and gone.  If you want to complete your Blackwood collection, you will never find a better time or a better price.
