This auction is for "The Best Of Alton Ellis" LP by Alton Ellis, released by Coxsone Records in Jamaica. The vinyl is VG+, with some surface marks, but plays amazingly well for a record this old (PLEASE NOTE: this is an original pressing from Jamaica, so some background noise is to be expected due to the vinyl processing and pressing techniques used by Jamaican pressing plants of the time, but if you're looking at this listing, then you're probably used to the varying quality of original Jamaican vinyl, so I'm probably wasting my time!). The cover is VG/VG+, with some shelf wear along the edges, some ring wear on the front cover, slight corner wear, and a small water stain along the top edge. That being said, the cover is actual in very good shape, especially for how old this original pressing is. This is the cleanest overall copy of this album we've ever come across.
