US 1st press (Apple SWBO-101) Mint!
This is a genuine original 1st U.S. press double LP gatefold stereo release on the Apple label from 1968 which will include the photos and poster. This is NOT a reissue, this is THE REAL THING!!! I will not open this to look so please don't ask. This numbered(1312715) original stock copy is mint sealed in full shrink wrap!! The shrink wrap has the original 2 breathe holes on the front. There is a 2" slit in the shrink at the lp opening where someone tried to "peek" at the contents inside. The heavy stock gatefold cover has the raised white lettering of "The Beatles" and the original number of the pressing on front. Also has the promo hole in the upper right corner. An absolutely gorgeous cover with no ring wear which of course is usually very typical of these. This was purchased from a relative of a Capitol Records exec who gave this as a gift so it was never sent to a store for sale and it was never opened. This very rare item will not be re-listed so go for the chance now to own a beautiful piece of Beatles and rock history!
