The Beatles-1980 First Press Capitol "Rarities" LP with Errors-NM-/NM

The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. The Beatles-"Rarities" LP, Capitol SHAL-12060, released in 1980. Jacksonville pressing. This is the first pressing with errors in the liner notes on the back. In "Helter Skelter", "I've got blisters on my fingers" was credited to John (it was Ringo) and "Produced by George Martin" was left off. There were corrected on the next pressing. Unknown how many of these first pressings were released before the mistakes were caught. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in NM condition. The embossed cover is in NM- condition, with extremely light wear. Includes inner sleeve, with slits on two sides. Inside the gatefold is a shot of the classic "Butcher" cover, the first time it's been reproduced on a Capitol record since 1966.  Classic Beatles, in a rare format.
