Up for sale is this audiophile first edition stereo vinyl LP set of 'The Beatles' released in November of 1968 in The United Kingdom. Both records were play tested on my Thornes TD 320 turntable. Never have heard The White Album in it's full glory until i played this. The albums plays so much more punchier and detailed than other pressings. You can definitely hear background music i have never heard before. I guess because these pressings were Tube cut from the fresh just made stereo analogue master tapes at Abbey Roads Studio. The records have -1 -1 -1 -1 in the matrix of the deadwax. The records have the early dark green Apple labels. Both records are in excellent lightly played condition with slight spindle hole wear. There are a few clicks & pops but nothing to detract from this masterpiece audiophile album set. The original top loading laminated cover is also in excellent condition with some laminate missing on the spine. The original large 8" by 13 1/2" John Kelly photos are in great shape. Also included is the original white photo protector sheet in very good condition with some storage wear. Also included are the original black die-cut inner sleeves but the records are protected in poly lined sleeves. The original poster has some pin holes on the corners. This Holy Grail Album will be professionally double boxed for protection through shipment with USPS priority mail. Thanks Frank
