RECORD AND JACKET ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.JACKET HAS SOME SIGNS OF AGING AND SLIGHT DISCOLORATION,NO SPLIT SEAMS.
The following are ways to tell if it is a butcher cover when the "black triangle" is not very visible : this one has the number "4" (butchers will have 2,3,4,5,6 and i believe 12,13 but number 4 is apparently the rarest)on the back cover on the lower right corner to the right of the RIAA symbol.also the trunk cover is pasted onto the jacket.finally the last way to tell is if there IS a red "gold record award" symbol on the front cover, then it is def. NOT a butcher cover.mine does NOT have the symbol.it is very hard to see the ringo black V neck sweater triangle bleeding through the cover, because of the type of glue from the factory the # 4 RIAA version used.the glue was very thick and sticky, making it very difficult to make out the V and also very hard to peel off.also the #4 factory in Illinois destroyed most of their copies and only a few managers were allowed to have them and the remainder that werent destroyed were used and pasted over w/ the trunk cover,I have heard.sorry for such a long message...i hope this helps explain the other ways to tell if you have a butcher as stated.Message me w/any questions and offers and thank you!
