Description
For auction is my copy of the The Beatles' Yesterday and Today, Capitol T2553 (mono). I have owned this copy since about 1983.
I consider this to be a very good peel job, although it was apparently done by an amateur. There is no damage to any of the Beatles' faces except for a small amount to John Lennon's face. The photos are of the actual item, and do a good job of showing the condition. There are a few stains on the back cover and some ink writing in the lower right corner on the back and an ink mark on the lower left corner. There is some wear on the along near the bottom of the back cover, and a mark where it appears a small sticker may have been pulled off. The back has very little ring wear or ring staining. The side seam is completely split. The top seam is split roughly halfway from the upper left front corner. The bottom seam is only split about 1.75 inches from the opening but does show some wear along the rest of the bottom edge.
The pressing plant mark in the lower left corner of the back cover is 3, which I believe indicates it was printed at the East Coast Plant in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
There is no record or inner record sleeve.
My copy has always been wrapped and safely stored in a pet-free and smoke-free environment.
