The Beatles – Yellow Submarine RARE first issue LP.
PCS 7070 Stereo – Apple Record Label.
A very RARE and collectable first issue album that features the BOLD RED lines to the rear.
CONDITION:
MAIN SLEEVE: is in good condition, made from the very early ‘thick set card’, from the very colourful cover the colours are full and rich, enhanced by a good front laminate. The sleeve has storage wear and has a few creases and scuffs due to its age. There is wear to the spine and a small part of the text has been lost. The printing company ‘Garrod and Lofthouse’ is printed on the back, with ‘patents no. 943895’. The rear is a little discoloured from age.
INNER SLEEVE: original plain inner white sleeve is good and has ‘patent no.’ on it. There is a little bit of wear to one edge.
VINYL: is the ‘thick set’ vinyl and is in near excellent condition, the audio is very good, there are a few marks on the record, but the surface is dark and shiny.
THE LABELS: the labels are excellent, being the very first issue it features a ‘DARK’ green Apple, it also features the RARE ‘ Sold in the UK….text’, and ‘an EMI recording’ text is also on the label, being the first issue, the matrix nos are: YEX 715-1 and YEX 716 - 2.
