An original very 1st stereo press of YS on Apple from Jan 1969. >>Matrix 1/1<<. >>Please note [importantly] that the labels mention 'sold in the uk' at the tops - this is indicative of 1st pressing<<. Well worth seeking out the 1st pressings as they were pressed solid and are top of the tree for audio. The vinyl comes housed in an original 1st issue cover with double red tram lines on the rear. Flipbacks are fully intact. Please note the bottom right flipback - there's no patent number / printing credit. This variation is known to be the very earliest possible obtainable. It tends to suggest the record was pressed in 1968 - late autumn. We also have the original genuine black inner. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In super condition having seen only light careful use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing at all worth worrying about. Take a close look at the spindle holes! A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are super quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Just to put this into context... in my experience this almost never happens. This title is incredibly fussy and very very few copies will survive through to this era playing close to how they did the month they were pressed.  It is as clean as they come - if you want that perfect all time show stopper...this could be the one to plug for. I've had great copies before - but I think this example is a pretty straightforward NO.1 - I just don't ever recall anything playing this clean before so consistently. A couple of crackles in a couple of spots per side. And two isolated clicks midway through side 2 [over in a flash].  And, remember, this record is VERY fussy with lots of lowkey passages. Only a supremely well preserved copy is going to stand half a chance of even getting close to a near perfect rendition. I'd love to pretend that you can source something like this every other month...this would be far far from the truth. Will you ever find a better copy...?
Cover (Ex-) In lovely condition with clean, and importantly, untarnished surfaces. Don't get caught out on this title - it is VERY hard to find in really top condition. Try taking a look at a few other 1st copies - not many will be looking relatively unaged on the front and have an actually white rear. Hardly any in fact. Only very faintest hint of ageing on the front and over onto the flipbacks [way better than what typically surfaces]. The front is like a mirror! Literally totally flat without ANY creasing [I would imagine that is a truly hard find]. Tiny slight nick middle left [rear] - but hardly any sign of ageing. Only very slightest edge wear in a couple of spots. Lovely rigidity in the cover and four pointy corners. Spine is 100% intact. Hard to believe... Absolutely superb.
Inner (Ex) No splits. Pretty much perfect.
