Description
The Beatles Yesterday and Today LP 1966
Mono
Capitol Records - T 2553
Cover in fair condition. The cover on top was removed by water to reveal the Baby Butcher cover, which was ironed and taped on top. Wavy on both sides of the cover from the water damage. Corners torn. Writing on the top left back cover.
The record in VG++ condition by sight only. I haven't played it though and do not own a record player so I do not know the sound quality. It's a bit dusty so it'll need some cleaning. Inner sleeve in VG to NM condition.
I will ship by Priority. I will answer anymore questions I can about the condition.
No returns accepted. PayPal payments only. Only shipping in the US. After winning the bid, please make your payment within 7 days.
NOTES added July 23: When I say that the Butcher cover was "taped on top" I mean it was taped on top of the cardboard of the cover. The Butcher cover is literally taped on all 4 sides to the cover as it was split from the cover (as is the track listing on the back). The "clean-cut" suits cover was removed so that the original owner who bought this when it was first released could have the Butcher cover on the front instead. The "clean-cut" suits cover is likely gone. So yes this is a Butcher cover, but it was underneath the "clean-cut" photo that was slapped on over the then-controversial Butcher cover and is water-damaged. The Butcher cover was split away and taped back on, so the tape has been holding it there for about 45 years. I'm sorry if this confused people bidding in any way.
There are also a few marks on side B of the record, but don't seem deep enough that play is affected. Again, as I stated earlier I don't own a record player so I'm not sure of the sound quality. The condition described is on SIGHT only.
I hope this is clearer to people what kind of condition this album is in. If you have anymore questions, please message me. Thank you.
