Description

Okay, first the good news: This is the USA-only release of The Beatles White Album that was issued by Apple Records as a two volume reel-to-reel package. The tape (Volume One) contains the songs that are on side one and two of the vinyl version of the album although the running order of the tracks is different. The real bonus though is that only on this tape do you get uniquely edited versions of Glass Onion and Don't Pass Me By.

Now the not so good news: Unfortunately some of the tape at the end of side one/beginning of side two has been lost, therefore you do not get to hear the complete run-through of Blackbird and Happiness Is A Warm Gun (although this is not such a big deal if all you are interested in are the two edited tracks which are not affected). Also the label on the tape reel has been removed.

However, the quality of the tape itself is excellent as is the blue-bound box that houses it.
