The Beatles Vinyl Collection

From DeAgostini

Issue 19

Let It Be (1970)

The Nineteenth part of a collectible series from DeAgostini, to be 23 issues, the series is based on original UK releases and includes all the original UK studio releases, some of the better compilation albums and 2 "live" albums, it does not cover every compilation and live album released.

This is the last proper original studio album the Beatles released, but not the last to be recorded, it was actually recorded earlier than Abbey Road in 1969 but kept back from release for over a year as the Beatles did not think it was good enough (they were wrong as it turned out to be one of their best albums), and only released when the Beatles were splitting up at the behest of their producer George Martin, who had arranged all the tracks, apparently to the dislike of Paul McCartney who much later released another Let It Be (the Naked version) with the more natural arrangement he original wanted, however I personally believe this version is better, although both are excellent with some classic tracks on it such as Get Back, The Long and Winding Road, Across The Universe and Let it Be which are easily among the best songs ever recorded by them, the other tracks are all excellent, what the Beatles considered not good enough would easily fit in any other recording artists best of! .  Unfortunately the Naked Version is not among this collection so we will have to put up with this brilliant album.

Also includes a Magazine of the Album

The album is 180g Vinyl

This is brand new, sealed and in pristine condition

I only have 2 of this one left, but if you miss out I may be able to get more, one please contact me if you want one when these have gone
