14 LP Box Set with Complete Contents
Limited Edition Serial Number 7934
I purchased this set new on August 31, 1983 at a Music Plus Store in Long Beach, CA with the intention of playing each record just once while recording it to a cassette and then storing it. My plans changed, I moved to Hawaii and the collection has been sitting untouched and unplayed since I bought it. This set is a very low number (#7,934) of the 25,000 produced. The original purchase receipt is included.
The set contains the complete original contents:
- Storage case
- All 14 albums
- Booklet containing signed and numbered "Certificate of Authenticity", a "Prologue" describing the collection, and the original cover art for all of the albums in the collection
- Certificate of Limited Warranty card
- GEO-DISC Precision Cartridge Alignment System
The discs remain in mint condition and have never even been removed from the slots that hold them upright in the case. I have not played them and know of no defects in any of them. All albums have the original "rice paper" sleeve and the reinforced stiff insert board inside the album jacket. The booklet is in very good condition, but the protective cover has a couple of bends on the back side caused by inserting it into its slot (see photo). The GEO-DISC is untouched.
The case is in good condition but has a few scuffs/dents that occurred during a couple of later moves (see photos). The hinges and latch show some oxidation. The left “door” of the case (the flaps that open) has a dent and some of the cover material has peeled off at the top corner (see photo-it’s actually black not gray). There is some very minor delamination (bubbling) of the case covering at the top of the right side but it’s almost unnoticable.

It will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail (insured). I checked the USPS shipping “estimator” and it is approximately $50.00. If it is less I will refund the difference. Shipping to the US lower 48 only. No overseas/international shipping.
