Extrememly rare one of the re-packaged versions of The Beatles Introducing the Beatles: Songs, Pictures & Stories of the Fabulous Beatles. Original 1st US Stereo Release Version 2. This copy contains the original unique ¾, 8-inch fold-out gatefold cover with an ultra-rare large celestial blue "Stereo" banner at the top of the cover. This 1st print Stereo cover comes across much rarer than the Mono covers with a format correcting red Stereo sticker. The album comes with an original Vee-Jay Records "Other Significant Albums of Interest on Vee-Jay Records" inner sleeve with 25 adverts of other VJ releases on each side.  Original Vee-Jay VJLP 1062 / 63-3402 catalog number 2.75' diameter pressing ring silver print brackets Vee-Jay logo very rare variation label with two bold “Stereo” banners on each side. Left-justified titles and credits along with the "Microgroove" and "Long Playing" banners. The 1st Allentown, PA plant pressing with the “ARC” plant identifier. Original true Stereo pressing with the "S" suffix before the matrix numbers on both sides. Very early 1st pressing with the -A1 / -A1 matrix numbers and “2-6-64” date stamp. The mastering of this vinyl was done by Audiomatrix Inc., New York as identified by the “AudioMatrix” machine stamp. The full matrix numbers are as follows: Side 1 – S 63-3402-1 ARC 2-6-64 URJ A1 AudioMatrix; Side 2 – S 63-3403-1 ARC 2-6-64 URJ A1 AudioMatrix.

 I grade the cover as somewhere between Very Good Plus and Excellent Minus. It's very clean and doesn't have any splits, missing pieces or writing. There's some light overall shelf wear on the front and back cover which has a light hint of ring wear at the top and bottom. The interior gatefold is in Excellent condition, very clean, and doesn't have any missing pieces or tears with the top of the right panel having some very light age discoloration. The corners and edges have some light occasional scuffing. The spine contains a fully readable text with some very light scuffing. The original Vee-Jay inner sleeve is in Excellent Minus condition. The vinyl is graded as Very Good Plus containing some light non-feelable surface marks and hairlines along with some light scuffs from the inner sleeve. The glossy labels are very clean and are scuff- and wear-free and have only a couple of of very light spindle marks that can be seen under a strong light source. The vinyl plays great with some light occasional static, which most likely could get reduced or go away if the record is professionally cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine.
