Description
The Beatles Sgt.Pepper 1st Issue Vinyl Parlophone B/Y Stereo PCS 7027 EX Copy.
A lovely copy of the Beatles classic album from 1967 in stereo and fully complete.
The black and yellow Parlophone labels are excellent and include "sold in the uk etc" and Gramophone rims. There is no writing on them. The KT tax code is stamped in the centre of the side 2 label.
The vinyl surfaces have a great sheen to them with a little bag rash. The record plays with no skips of sticks just a little background static in the quieter moments that a professional clean may improve.
The inner sleeve is the correct Fool designed red/white version that has no splits just a little age browning.
The cover is really excellent with a brilliant shine to the front and rear panel.There are a few small creases under the laminate but these are hard to see. The 2 internal flaps are fully intact and there is no missing paper and no writing. The inside of the gatefold is almost perfect. The spine is fully readable. The card cut out sheet is present with no marks and uncut!
Matrix yex 637-1 and yex 638-1.
Stampers LT2 and GDR4.
Quite simply a lovely rare copy.
