Description
This is a great early copy of Sgt Peppers. The sleeve (of course) has signs of wear - the odd crease and the corners are slightly dented but there are no splits. The laminate on the inner spine is a bit dented but, again, all complete, with no splits. This copy has the original cut-out Peter Blake graphics - all complete and (according to the discogs listing of this album) the inner sleeve (in red print) is also the original. The inner sleeve has seen better days but it's complete. The vinyl itself has some surface markings and very light scratching (sort of like where the stylus has skipped across the surface in the past) but I have played this record all the way through in the past two days and there are no skips or jumps and the overall sound quality is very good. There is some very quite surface noise here and there but you would expect that from an album of this age. Similar copies of this grading and 'completeness' are listed on discogs at figures well over £40. The matrix numbers are XEX 637 - 1 and 638 - 1. Please look at the pictures closely - I can provide more detailed ones if needed.
I'm not offering international postage (just 2nd class mainland UK) but if a successful bidder requires a different postage service I can make arrangements for that of course.
