Description

I am continuing to offer records from my life long collection due to lack of space. All records have been play tested & will be cleaned with a proper wet vacuum cleaner & where necessary treated with  Milty anti static gun, & popped into a new anti static sleeve.

The Beatles : Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

YEAR   :   1967?

FORMAT : Vinyl

CAT NUMBER : PCS 7027 Matrix nos. YEX 637-7-1-1 & YEX 638-7-1-2

Record Label : Parlophone (with Apple logo also)

GRADE / VINYL : EX

GRADE / SLEEVE : VG +

GENERAL CONDITION :

Both labels (black & silver) are clean, with just a small no of spindle lines. The record looks great, a deep glossy black with no visible marks or scratches, just some light hairlines under a strong light. It sounds superb, intro grooves are all but silent, with fantastic sound quality & a very low background noise floor. Plays with no jumps, pops, clicks or crackles.
The gatefold cover is also in great shape too, but I have graded it as VG + due to some visible edge wear. the spine is intact, the corners are good & there are no rips, tears, creases, stains or writing, though on the rear portion the top seam has a 3 inch split which I almost missed! The included original insert is still like new.
I believe this record is a bit of an oddity. There is a box to the rear top left corner stating the record is a direct metal master, which I believe was only available from the mid 1980's. But this version has a Apple logo on the right of the box, & this cover is laminated, unlike the one listed in Discogs.
Overall a terrific copy.
I am happy for buyers to collect, for those unable to do so I offer 1st class UK posting.
Please note I will not post overseas due to past problems.

Thank you for looking, & happy bidding. Please check out my other items.

I make no money from postage and packing costs, and items are always insured to correct value. Collection from BH22 near Bournemouth is also welcome.
