Description

Recovery Through Vinyl presents for sale a transitional copy of Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band. The disc is a mono first press with the sleeve is a stereo version from the same year. I have to say that this baffled me at first but with some insight from both Rockabuy Records and Beatles website yokono.co.uk. The general consensus indicates that this occurred because record companies were phasing out mono and often used up existing stock of stereo covers (which often lacked a specific "Mono" sticker) for the remaining mono pressings.

Vinyl Condition: VG+ or very near EX. Little marks on vinyl but these are minimal. Sounds is great and vinyl has been cleaned using humminbird guru

Sleeve condition : VG+ . Lovely condition cover with no scuffs and small amount of ring wear in back (see photos)

Inserts: cut outs and inner are both present in N/m and. VG condition respectively.

This is a nice oddity for Beatles collectors and is in great condition . Having play tested this the sound is great, no pops or crackles.

All information has been cross checked with Discogs, yokono.co.uk and Rockabuy records to complete accuracy relating to both the disc and the transitional nature of the overall package.
