THE BEATLES - 'SECOND ALBUM'
This German pressing from July 1964 was primarily for sale to members of the Allied Forces stationed in Germany & West Berlin
It on the white/red/gold Odeon label (ZTOX 5558) with the rim text beginning with the words 'Alle Rechte....'
This copy is a rarer 'TELDEC' contract pressing as signified by a slight ridge around each label & the wording 'Manufactured in Germany' stamped into each run-out. Regular Odeon pressings had 'Made In Germany' in their run-outs

Housed within a front laminated German printed cover, complete with original Odeon advertising inner-sleeve

Labels: VERY GOOD +
Apart from a name written on both labels, each is clean and undamaged with a moderate collection of spindle trails on each.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both playing surfaces are extremely clean and retain a full deep-gloss shine. There are no significant surface marks visible in strong daylight and only some harmless wispy paper-type hairlines visible beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.
Sound Quality: VERY GOOD
This copy has received a moderate amount of play and there is evidence of playwear on some tracks. However there are no clicks, pops, jumps/repeats or any other major audible faults.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
Firm & fully intact with light handling & storagewear without any major faults.
The front panel is clean with some light storage rubbing with a single 'thumbnail' & a few tiny edge wrinkles. There is light shelfwear to the lower corners but no splits or tears either opening edges. The rear panel is clean & unblemished and both seams are unstressed & unsplit.
There is a letter missing form the spine text, but otherwise it is clean & unworn.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean and uncreased with no writing, tears or seam splits.
