The Beatles - help SHELL COVER NM ORIGINAL SWEDISH LP This special edition of Help! was produced for Shell to kick off their "Shell helps" campaign in 1979. As part of this promotion, Shell arranged that a small number of these special versions of Help from The Beatles was produced to be given as a gift to their Dutch distributors and store managers. Less than 2000 copies were printed - so unless you were a Shell distributor or store manager in 1979 you could not get it anywhere!" This is 100% sure the real thing. It has machine stamped matrix stampers: MA PCS 3071 A YEX 168-2 ~ MA PCS 3071 B YEX 169-1. A lovely copy of a very rare record. This vinyl copy of 'Help!' is the Swedish first-press issue, with first-press labels, and first-press identification numbers.
Black labels with silver lettering. Boxed 'Parlophone' logo at 12 o'clock.
There were two versions with the same cover - 1000 of each, this is the Swedish version in near unplayed condition: Record and sleeve are in NEAR MINT condition.
