Description

Hello and welcome to one of my listings. Primarily I am a collector however from time to time I like to offer items from my collection. I grade very strictly, both play grading and visual grading are used, Visual grading is based on inspection under both normal and extreme bright light, as you will see from my feedback I do normally get this right! If for any reason you are not happy however I do offer a 100% money back promise providing ofcourse the item is returned in the condition it was sent in. Thanks for looking!

The Beatles ‘SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND!' EXTREMELY Rare WIDESPINE sleeve! STEREO!

The early ‘wide spine’ sleeves to these mono and stereo pressings of this famous album were quickly withdrawn after it was found that they took up far too much room when delivered to the music retailers, so it was only the first and most early copies that received covers with this almost book like format, with subsequent pressings receiving the far more common thinner spined covers. This widespine feature to this early copy is slightly rarer in stereo than its mono counterpart this one too is a nice solid respectable example.

LP information:

Catalogue Number: PCS 7027

Matrix Numbers: YEX 637-1/ YEX 638-1

Condition:

Outer Sleeve: A  clean structurally solid example with some general age wear present, the spine has recieved a little bit of crushing but no major wear is present, some creasing in the lamination is present, however overall a solid example of this much rarer widespine sleeve- this even rarer stereo example. Very Good- Very Good Plus

Side One/ Side Two: Despite there being a number of non feelable markings to both sides, the audio is very solid with nice clean clear stereo sound- it would appear that these markings are purely cosmetic and this copy has not been overplayed, such is the quality of the audio. There is the odd light pop here and there but the overall imbetween songs it is quiet. Visual: Good, Audio: Very Good Plus

Labels: A few trails present to both sides but no wear. Excellent.

Cutout Sheet: Near Mint

Inner sleeve: A slight tear to the top along with slight creasing but no side splits. Very Good.

I aim to provide the most honest and accurate grading to ALL of my records. All records are graded to the highest and most strict standards in accordance with the guide set by the Record Collectors Guide. Close examination under a bright desk top lamp is used in the grading of vinyl playing surface as well as normal daylight.

If not fully satisfied I offer a money back guarantee, providing the record is returned in the condition it was sent in (postage costs not included).

Postage costs: I only offer recorded/ signed for deliveries for both UK and overseas.
