Description

The Beatles. Rubber Soul. U.K. Mono L.P. PMC1267. Black and Yellow Parlophone label. Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. flip back sleeve. One inch across "£" logo on front cover lower right hand corner. Plain paper inner sleeve. Upper case "THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD....." around label edge. With "SOLD IN THE U.K. SUBJECT TO....." above the centre hole. With matrix numbers, (XEX.579) on the A side label, and, (XEX.580) on the B side label.

The information in the dead wax run out areas are as follows : A side reads XEX 579-1 with stampers G DP, and 8. The B side reads XEX 580-1 with stampers H D , and 2.

The overall condition is excellent. The vinyl has no scratches and only very very minor surface noise.The labels are clean and crisp with no writing, tape stains, or marks of any kind. There are a few very light spindle marks around the centre hole on both sides. The inner sleeve is in excellent condition with no splits or tears, and only very light yellowing through age. The outer picture cover is in keeping with the rest of this item. Excellent condition with no tears or splits and the spine is nice and straight and tight. There is some very light wear to the bottom edge and couple of very light age marks in the shiney clarifoil lamination. This is a super example of this album and is offered for sale with no reserve.
