Description
Absolutely stunning, near mint, original pressing of The Beatles 1965 Rubber Soul LP. I originally purchased this LP via ebay from Perry Cox, in 2001 and was immediately blown away by both the condition and appearance of the disk, cover and original gold Capitol Records inner sleeve. Listening to it was simply amazing. The record retains a high-gloss appearance, plays loudly with little to no surface noise and great fidelity. The labels are near mint and present beautifully. Since 2001 it has only been played twice and from the time I received it, it has been stored in a thick plastic outer sleeve, with the album itself in a protective, soft plastic anti-static sleeve. The lower back corner is labeled with a number 4, making this a Jacksonville, IL pressing. Hard to find 47 year old examples of any album in this wonderful condition, let alone a classic such as this. In 2012, Rubber Soul was voted 5th on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time. Best of luck in your bids!
