"MICHELLE" ORIGINAL STICKER

After the British pop duet David & Jonathan teamed up with George Martin to make a cover on The Beatles' Michelle in 1966, the copies of The Beatles Rubber Soul were equipped with a yellow sticker where the recording label had to indicate: "Hear Paul sing "Michelle" Original Beatles' Version". Therefore, it could be stated that this copy was pressed no earlier than 1966. At this time the Capitol Records labels already indicated the name of the band "The Beatles", under the name of the album "Rubber Soul", which is absent on the 1965 pressings. In spite of some signs of age, the original sticker is still in a great condition. It has some light soling and the original adhesive coming through in some parts. The cover is in a sealed condition. The cellophane wrap is intact with the seams not having any splits and original breathe holes present on the front cover. The cover is graded as Mint Minus. Very light bumping to the corners with the bottom right corner having a little bit of soling. A light age discoloration near the mouth area. The RIAA number in the lower right-hand corner is "3", indicating that Capitol Records pressed this copy at their factory in Scranton, Pennsylvania. This could also be the contract pressing, pressed on Columbia, as I've come across these copies several times. In any case, such example with an original sticker is impossible to find in our time and I'm departing with it with a sense of big regret.
